The cap and body of Montblanc James Dean special edition pens are made of red precious resin, recalling the red jacket worn by Dean in the movie “Rebel Without a Cause”. This film is the second film he starred in and one of the first films in the world to be produced using special colour technology.
The new writing tools of Montblanc James Dean limited edition are available in ink pens, signature pens and ballpoint pens. The delicate patterns on the pens are inspired by the jeans texture in Dean’s iconic screen shape; the rhodium-plated pen holders are all in the shape of a barrel, paying tribute to Dean. Starring in the third and final film “Giant Biography”, he cleverly interprets the classic image of Jett Rink’s shoulder gun.
The bullet-embellished bullet pattern and the dollar pattern on the top of the platinized cap are inspired by the legendary fragment of the movie Eden East. Dean’s first screen show made him famous.
